Promotional photograph with press release on reverse, dated January 22, 1990: GUESTS ARE SWEPT UP BY THE TIDAL WAVE AT GREAT AMERICA Guests at Great America theme park are swept up by the fun as they test the turbulent Tidal Wave. The steel loop ride, one of four exciting coasters at the Santa Clara, California, theme park, accelerates from zero to 55 miles per hour in 4.2 seconds. Visitors can also challenge the Grizzly, the largest wooden coaster in Northern California; the Demon, a fiendish steel loop and corkscrew coaster; or the Blue Streak, a pint-sized thrill ride for beginning coaster enthusiasts.
