HMF at Greater New Bethel Baptist Church, 601 E. 99th Street, Inglewood, California, February 17, 2005; 7:35 p.m. Opening by Glenn Ford -- Praise and Worship led by Norma Beard "I Know It Was the Blood" -- Scripture reading -- "Calvary" -- "When on the Cross at Calvary" (Oh, Lord Remember Me/Will the Lord Remember Me) -- Welcome and Purpose by Margaret Douroux -- "Remember Me" (Comp. by Margaret Douroux) -- Introduction of Henry Jackson -- Henry Jackson (New Bethel Baptist Church of Venice, CA) "Saved" with Anthony Coleman on e. piano & Rev. Sam on organ -- Introduction of Suzanne Williams (Holy Community Church) -- Suzanne Williams testimony (Williams on piano) "The Precious Lamb of God" (later on piano, Carolyn Kimble-Singleton) -- Margaret Douroux introduces Pastor Larry Edgar Campbell (Park Avenue Baptist Church-Riverside, CA) -- Oh, What a Savior" taught by Marvina "Cookie" Leavey -- Margaret Douroux closing remarks, reprise on "Oh, What a Savior" and closing prayer. Part of Gospel Archiving in Los Angeles (GALA), a yearlong partnership between the Heritage Music Foundation (HMF) and the UCLA Ethnomusicology Archive, funded by a UCLA in LA Community Partnership grant, 2004-2005.
