Peter Drucker writes to Carolina Biquard to send her and her family his warm wishes during the crisis in Argentina. He hopes they are able to enjoy the holidays despite the, "terrible events of last week." The events he refers to are the December 2001 Argentina riots which were a period of civil unrest and rioting, with the most violent incidents taking place on December 19th and 20th in the capital city, Buenos Aires. He goes on to predict that her work with Fundación Compromiso will serve as, "a beacon of light at night and a pillar of sand at day as the Bible has it - to give guidance, hope, courage to all of Argentina." He also suggests that she advise her sponsors that, now is the time that they should be investing in Fundación Compromiso because their support in a time of crisis does more for their public relations and advertising than their support during times of stability.
