View of chaparral covered hills from the Rim of the World Scenic Byway near Lake Arrowhead. The byway, located in the San Bernardino National Forest, is a 110-mile route which traverses the rim of the San Bernardino Mountains from Cajon Pass to San Gorgonio Pass. When built in 1915, it was 101 miles long and had over 2,000 visitors in 1916. July 30, 1937.
