Photograph article dated November 6, 1961 partially reads, "Hanson, director of the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, is in Los Angeles for the annual series of six special performances for more than 20,000 city school pupils, ranging from elementary to high school students. In his Reseda concerts, the Pulitzer Prize winning composer will lead two 40-minute performances of his own works. Students from schools throughout the West Valley will attend."
