Description
This painting, done in ledger style, depicts two warriors in battle. The figure on the left has fallen from his horse, and both horse and rider are wounded. The figure on the right appears to be a representation of Zintka Mato. On recto: Pawnee and Sioux in battle. Zintka Mato.
