Description
Photographic portrait of Temple Sarah Ann Rogers, the "Pioneer Mother of Highland Park", Los Angeles, [s.d.]. Ms. Rogers can be seen sitting in a chair looking off to the left. She is wearing a dark, button-down dress, the cuffs and collar of which are lace, and has put her hair up into a bun. She wears glasses and is not smiling. Her face is smooth, but seems old. The decorative molding of hallway walls behind her are visible. The caption underneath the photo reads "Elite" in cursive script and then, "T.E. Stanton, Temple Block, 119 and 129 North Main-st., Los Angeles, Cal".
