Photograph caption dated November 30, 1950 reads, "Mrs. Geraldine Richards of North Hollywood cuddles two frisky Pekingese pups she will enter Sunday in annual puppy match sponsored by Pacific Coast Pekingese Club at 8706 Sunset Blvd., Hollywood. Fifty per cent of entry fee will be donated to Union Rescue Mission to buy Christmas meals for needy."
