Photograph caption dated December 31, 1957 reads "Montrose sheriff's detectives William Betz, left, and Marty Skelly, today take stock of $2,776 in burglary loot they say was taken yesterday from La Canada Hardware Co., 1111 Foothill Blvd., La Canada, by two teenage boys. Youths, 13 and 15, were arrested at their homes in La Crescenta where loot was recovered."
