Description: The Sacramento Little League team representing Stop and Shop Markets poses on Malcom Hersko Field for this 1956 photograph. Opening in 1956, the field was located behind the Sacramento Children's Home at 2750 Sutterville Road, and was named for Sacramento Little League president Malcom R. Hersko who died in 1955 at age 26.
