Photograph caption dated December 1, 1953 reads, "Lt. Gov. Harold J. Powers, center, admires drawings of the float to be entered in the Bethlehem Star Parade in Van Nuys Saturday at 7 p.m. by Emmanuel Lutheran Church of North Hollywood. With him are Rev. R. A. Ramseth, left, president, Van Nuys Ministerial Association, and Rev. Walter H. Staves, parade chairman."
