View is looking southwest at the exterior of Bullock's Wilshire store, hailed as "a cathedral of commerce" a quarter of a century ago. Beauty and utility are blended in the art deco design of the building. Date built: 1928. Architects: Parkinson & Parkinson. Photo dated: June 4, 1937.
