Description
Photograph of President Theodore Roosevelt reviewing the La Fiesta de Los Angeles parade in front of City Hall on Broadway, May 8, 1903. Roosevelt and another man, both wearing top hats, turn to peer straight ahead from behind a dense plant arrangement which adorns the side of the carriage in which they are seated. Four other men in top hats sit in the same carriage. A crowd of well-dressed people on a grandstand constitute the spectators visible in the background.
