Photograph article dated May 16, 1961 reads, "A Sepulveda woman and her 19-year-old son have major roles in the three-day Jehovah's Witnesses convention in Glendale which will end Sunday. Mrs. June Kanavos, 15808 Nordhoff St., and her son, Thomas, are both ministers for the denomination. Mrs. Kanavos was featured in the ministry school section of the program in Glendale Civic Auditorium. Her son was appointed chairman in charge of today's session of the convention. All baptized Jehovah's witnesses are ministers."
