Description: Mrs. Ben Ruby is president of the Women's Chapter of the Cancer Aid Association at Mt. Sinai-Duarte Medical Center. The association entertained about 2000 guests at its Dutch dinner held at the Santa Monica Ambassador. All proceeds from the event go toward maintenance and expansion of cancer work at the center. Photo dated: December 15, 1947.
