Description: Ventura Boulevard, looking northeast toward Del Moreno, near Winnetka Boulevard. Ventura Boulevard is the major east-west thoroughfare in the Valley, running from Hollywood to Ventura. Previously, a section of Ventura Boulevard was known as "El Camino Real", the 18th Century trail that connected the Spanish missions of California. Numerous businesses are seen on both sides of the street as well as huge billboards advertising everything from cars, to grocery stores, restaurants, television shows, etc. The majestic Santa Monica Mountains are visible in the background.
