Photograph caption dated June 10, 1961 reads, "Accepting trophy are from left, Glenn E. Allen, Ray Metcalf and Forest Olson." The article partially reads, "The West Valley YMCA's successful drive for funds to build a new facility for youth of the area was cited this week during the Los Angeles YMCA's 79th annual meeting at the Biltmore Bowl....A trophy honoring the effort was presented to Ray Metcalf, chairman of the West Valley board, Forest Olson, drive general chairman, and Glenn Allen, executive secretary. The new facilities will be constructed at 18810 Vanowen St., Reseda. Completion is scheduled for mid-1962."
