Photograph caption dated November 25, 1954 reads, "Chest Aid. John Snider, left, representing the Lockheed Employes' [sic] Buck-of-the-Month Club, and Burt C. Monesmith, right, vice president and general manager of Lockheed's California division, presents replicas of BOMC and company checks totaling $256,500 to Community Chest representatives, Arthur Meacham, chairman of the San Fernando Valley fund campaign, and Boy Scout Earl R. Dietsch of Tujunga. This makes the third consecutive year pledges by Lockheed employes [sic] and their company has topped the $250,000 mark."
