Description
Composite image of two Walapai Indian women with babies on their backs, [s.d.]. The woman on the left is dressed in a long, spotted dress and lightly-colored headdress as she faces the left with a baby boy tied to her back in her shawl. The woman behind her on the right wears a lightly-colored dress with no headdress over her dark hair and a baby girl clinging to her back from within her dark shawl. They both stand on a woven, patterned blanket while a second blanket hangs from the wall behind them. A door can be seen on the far right and an identical image is on the left.
