Photograph article dated July 10, 1959 partially reads, "The Golden Valley's Pot-O-Gold trap shooting tourney is history and a new champ has taken home the money. This year's third Annual shooter winner is Richard Clodt a relative newcomer from Inyokern. Clodt won the title and $500 cash in the two-day meet Sunday."
