Secretary of State's Office;
Born in Fresno County in 1869 to Van Buren and Minerva Cobb. He and brother, A.J. Cobb, ran livery stable which beginning in 1907 changed to automobile dealership. He and brother continued farming as well, raising figs. Beginning in 1927, created a financial corporation, L.S. Cobb & Co. In 1927, elected to the California Senate. Married Anna D. Jones. Died in 1934.
