Title supplied by cataloger. Curtis Adler was a legal interpreter that specialized in five languages. Adler was helping the Motz translate the German adoption papers for their two sons in order to obtain naturalization papers for the boys. Photograph caption dated August 12, 1959 reads, "Study adoption papers. In wide-eyed wonderment, Christie, left, and Tommy Adler watch their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Christian Motz, of 20043 Labador St., Chatsworth, go over their adoption papers. Curtis Adler, left, North Hollywood interpreter, translates legal forms from original German."
