Photograph article dated April 26, 1962 partially reads, "The Pacific Rose Society will hold its silver anniversary Rose and Flower Arrangement Show at Brookside Park, Pasadena, Saturday and Sunday. Site for the show will be the Fannie E. Morrison Horticultural Center and hours will be 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday. Karen Crosby, Pasadena, will be crowned queen of the show at 2:30 p.m. on opening day. In her court will be Maggie Varcars, Alhambra, and Sharon Booth, Altadena. The queen will be crowned by last year’s queen, Gale Farrar.” The Rose Queen, Karen Crosby, is visible at center. Maggie Vacars and Sharon Booth are on either side.
