PHOTO: FRESNO COUNTY: FRESNO: PARADES, CELEBRATIONS, EVENTS, ETC.
Shows float drawn by two white horses wearing ornate net coverings. Men dressed in Mexican-style hats and sashes surround float. One carrys banner "Instituted Dec. 16th, 1853 Fresno, Cala." with emblem of bear in center. Buildings line street, Archibald Implement Co. (which was located at 915 J St.) building visible in background. Horse drawn carriage with fringe top behind float.
