Description
Labor activist Dolores Huerta stands in front of her portrait on the walkway in front of Holden Hall. Above her portrait, the mural says, "Si Se Puede!" (Yes We Can!) and below it says, "Viva Dolores Huerta!" Dolores Huerta was on the Pitzer campus for Cesar Chavez Day 2007 when the portrait was revealed and then signed by her. The mural is based on a portrait by Barbara Carazco. Above the portrait the words "Women" and "Struggle" are visible as well as "Si Se Puede!" (Yes We Can).
