Description: "Caption information: Italians gathered at Columbus statue, State Office Bldg. #1 to honor Christopher Columbus. Laying one of the wreaths at the statue were Adriana Gianturco, Director of State Dept. of Transportation, Joe D'Alessandro, coordinator of the United Italians of Sacramento. Another wreath was also placed at the statue by the Sons of Italy, Sacramento."
