Photograph article dated June 12, 1964 partially reads, "Soonkil Hong, Chief of Housing in the Korean Ministry of Construction, was selected by his government, under the sponsorship of the United Nations, to make a five month survey in the fields of housing and economic development in the United States, The Netherlands, Germany and Japan. The Los Angeles office of the House & Home Finance Agency, planned Hong's first visit to California to include the Regional Planning Commission, but Brighton-Bilt Homes' low-cost residential community in Oxnard, was the only housing tract scheduled on Hong's program." Pictured is Soonkil Hong (left), Korean Chief of Housing, being welcomed by City Councilman C. E. Davidson.
