Description
Annotation translation: "What is left over from the tiwa festival in Kandan (above Sampit). In the middle Sandong to the right and left, 2 high masts, on which earthen pots have been mounted, ihre gana = souls, which should turn into wealth for the dead in the other world. In the foreground the priest and priestesses who lead the souls to the town of the dead."
Annotation: "Ueberreste vom Tiwahfest in Kandan (oberhalb Sampit), in der Mitte: Sandong links & rechts, 2 hohe Masten, die durch irdene Töpfe gehen, ihre gana = Seele soll sich im Jenseits in Reichtümer für die Verstorbenen verwandeln. Im Vordergrund die Zauberpriester & -priesterinnen, die die Seele in die Seelenstadt geleitet haben."
