Photograph caption dated January 8, 1964 reads, "That old antique Edison phonograph stored up in your garage or locked away in a closet may be what A. Raborn Phillips Jr. is looking for. Phillips, a North Hollywood insurance broker, collects and repairs old phonographs and graphophones to see and trade with other collectors around the world." Pictured is Phillips Jr. with some of his early model Edisons.
