Description: Aerial view looking west towards Hollywood. Photo shows the partially completed Hollywood Freeway. Wide passes are finished over Glendale Boulevard and other main thoroughfares. New freeway runs parallel to Temple, then converges near Vermont. Eventually, system will extend from Van Nuys to Santa Ana. Photo dated: April 12, 1950.
