Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated April 22, 1947 reads, "Red, an Irish setter, is shown with little Audrey Brooks, 3 1/2, one of the children in the neighborhood where the dog was found yesterday, hungry, footsore and apparently lost. Mrs. F. J. E. Fitzgerald of 12151 Ostego st., North Hollywood, has taken the big female setter into her home while the dog's real owner is searched for. Mrs. Fitzgerald and Audrey have found a hint of Red's background: - she loves children."
