Photograph. "Can engineers do this? -- The Commercial Exchange Building at Eighth and Olive, which may have to have a five-foot section removed if the Olive Street widening plan carries. Removal of part of the front would be very expensive. -- Suggestion that the portion be taken from the center and the Olive Street side moved back has been made. The white strip indicates where this might be removed although the place has not been definitely decided." -- Examiner clipping attached to verso, dated 14 February 1929. Streetscape.
