Description
Bertha Lopez and Floorlady Rose Palomera in Del Monte Plant #3, which was located at 801 Auzerais Avenue in San Jose. Floorladies supervised women working on the cannery's production lines. Managers preferred that women be supervised by other women. Floorladies wore white uniforms and white hardhats to distinguish them from regular workers who wore street clothes and blue hardhats.
