Description: Newscaster Barbara Walters meets the press September 30. Harry Reasoner, with whom she'll begin co-anchoring the "ABC Evening News" October 4, was by her side. Miss Walters will have other responsibilities at ABC. She'll participate in ABC News' "Issues and Answers" and in a series of specials. Her switch to ABC from NBC-TV was big news.
