Two men lay on several hewn timbers at left adjacent to a rough stick fence. A dog scratches in the dirt near a lying dog under the shelter. Also under the shelter is a table holding clothing, blankets, rope, etc. A hand-cranked object sits on a stool near one of the posts. A small building constructed of sticks and branches with a thatched roof is visible in the background.
