Description: Photograph caption dated June 5, 1952 reads, "Film Comedian Joe E. Brown gets a "blessing" from "Mad Dog" Murphy as the Saints and Sinners formally name Brown "Mr. Movies of 1952" during stag banquet last night. More than $16,000 was raised for underprivileged children. Taking part in the ceremony are Jerome Weber (left), master of the Saints and Sinners, and Sam Mannis (right), chief jester. Weber and Mannis are co-founders of organization."
