"The new guards of the city". Three young men in uniforms with rifles. Their uniforms are dishevelled and torn and they are barefoot. Part of set of mounted prints, probably commercially produced, stamped as being from the Loan Department of the LMS. Also bears the reference number 53297. Possibly from Miss Gilpin.
