Photograph caption dated May 15, 1959 reads, "Some ready to move out of Chávez Ravine, and others not, members of the Manuel Arechiga family listen to the advice of Attorney Phil Silver (left) today as new developments transpire in the Cha´vez controversy. Seated next to Silver is Mrs. Victoria Augustain, an Arechiga daughter, who, with her husband and their three children, agreed to move. Another daughter, Mrs. Aurora Vargas, and her children are in the background. Mrs. Arechiga (center) and her husband say they will not move."
