Photograph caption dated March 3, 1987 reads, "Carrying placards in two languages, demonstrators marched from Santa Rosa Church in San Fernando to San Fernando High School to protest a birth control clinic at the high school. Sponsored by Parents and Students United of the San Fernando Valley, between 800 and 1,000 protesters complained that schools with black or Hispanic populations are being targeted for these clinics and that parrents were not notified of the policy."
