Photograph of two men plucking a male ostrich on a farm owned by Mr. Cawston (at right) in South Pasadena, ca.1900. The men with moustaches and wearing caps stand on either side of the tall ostrich whose head is covered by a hood. A pile of feathers sits on the ground at bottom. They work near a post and rail fence. A tall wood fence is visible in the background.
