Description
Survey of West 12th Street between Indian Hill Boulevard and Dartmouth Avenue. These homes represent a past age when this portion of Claremont was subdivided, with the purpose of developing the raw acreage into streets and lots. The parcels were then sold to individuals who had houses constructed according to individual needs and tastes. Construction took a considerable amount of time with the subdivision and development of the streets a mixture of different architectural styles and sizes. There are a few specialized buildings located west on 12th Street, including the Claremont Women's Club.
