View is looking northeast; Metropolitan State Hospital (formerly Norwalk State Hospital) is seen on right and above center. Running diagonally halfway in the center is 2nd Street. Norwalk Boulevard runs along lower portion, and Bloomfield Road runs along upper middle. Oil derricks are scattered throughout the city of Santa Fe Springs, which can be seen in the distance. Photographed for Pacific Drive-In Theater on November 7, 1955.
