Description
Photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on June 23, 1972 states: "It was a difficult decision for Sam Dorsey, 82, when he was told by a sheriff's deputy that he must leave his home in Isleton for higher ground. Dorsey, however, was persuaded to leave the area and was evacuated. A mandatory evacuation order was issued yesterday by the Isleton mayor."
