Hybels for his audio book, “The Nonprofit Drucker.” This tape is part of the series entitled, “Strategies.” Hybels begins by explaining that he is the Senior Pastor of Willow Creek Community Church in Barrington, Illinois, and is responsible for over 12,000 parishioners. He talks about his experience starting a regional church and growing it into a larger one. He discusses the importance of door-to-door fundraising and recruiting members and volunteers. Hybels describes how he broke tradition to revamp the church to meet the parishioners’ needs. He advises on how to work with lay people and volunteers. He ends the interview by discussing how his role has changed in the past decade.
