Photograph caption dated November 14, 1963 reads, "Members of North Hollywood Congregational Church make final preparations and tests on recipes for their annual community barbecue which will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the church, 10919 Oxnard St. Testing the sauce are James C. McGee and Mrs. Jim Morrison, while Duncan McClymont and Eugene Strausser watch from in back. Strausser is general manager of Dale's Market, North Hollywood, which is furnishing food."
