The extensive portfolio of photographic artist Carol Westwood (1942-2011), a native New Yorker who lived in Los Angeles for many years, includes a diverse array of subjects: animals, nudes, American and European cities, and portraits. Additionally, she worked on special and still photography for numerous motion picture and television productions in Hollywood; the archive of her entertainment and celebrity images was distributed internationally by Gamma, Liaison International, Stone Images, and Getty images from 1988-2003. A street view with a parking lot, close to 8117 Sunset Boulevard, looking east toward Crescent Heights Boulevard. It is a part of the famous "Sunset Strip", the mile and a half stretch of Sunset Boulevard passing through West Hollywood. A billboard showing women in bikinis advertising Sands casino hotel in Las Vegas and a sign of Chevron gas station are present on the northern side of Sunset Boulevard.
