Description: On the right a fountain in the center of St. James Park spouts water. The fountain is surrounded by palms, shrubs, trees and flowers. Many of the plants are in bloom, even though the caption on the postcard calls it a winter scene. This card may have been intended to promote San Jose's mild climate where plants bloom even in winter.
