The Temple Beth Hayim located at 13335 Ventura Boulevard, moved locations in 1964 to 4302 Van Nuys Boulevard, now known as Temple B'nai Hayim.
Photograph caption dated March 13, 1965 partially reads, "Members of the Temple Beth Hayim, Sherman Oaks, participated in a Torah dedication ceremonial rite. Rabbi Joel DeKoven is shown under canopy holding the holy scroll in parade outside temple doors.
