Written on back: "Members of Engine Company No. 10, Truck Company No. 7 and Tank Wagon Company No. 11 of the San Francisco Fire Department wait expectantly for a slice of the "Thank-you" cake presented by Blum's in recognition of the firemen's efficient work in a disastrous fire at Blum's factory on June 25. Invaluable old candy formulas were saved from the flames. The men are (left to right) J. Burke, R. Galli, B. Wallace, Chief R. Minkel, T. Cortery, F. Waldyer, G. Barry, S. Cavellini, Chief W. Murray, J. Welch, R. Casey, R. McDevitt, T. Hughes, F. Henry and T. Dalton.
