Description
Portrait of man, seated, wearing a long coat over waistcoat, with silk necktie and spread collar. His waistcoat is buttoned only at the top, and the checkered fabric of his shirt can be seen through the opening. His short, wavy hair is slightly unruly, and he is sporting a handlebar mustache that connects with a chinstrap beard shaved to leave his entire chin bare. From a leather-bound album containing 23 cabinet cards and cartes-de-visite. Most of the studios were located in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, especially Lowell, although the cartes-de-visite were taken in California.
